Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to be able to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength. I love inspiration, motivation, encouragement, laughter, the struggle and the victory. Enjoy the quotes, sayings, inspiration and my experiences.

"That’s what real love amounts to - letting a person be what he really is. Most people love you for who you pretend to be. To keep their love, you keep pretending - performing. You get to love your pretense. It’s true, we’re locked in an image, an act - and the sad thing is, people get so used to their image, they grow attached to their masks. They love their chains. They forget all about who they really are. And if you try to remind them, they hate you for it, they feel like you’re trying to steal their most precious possession." Jim Morrison

"Relationships are mirrors of ourselves. What we attract always mirror either qualities we have or beliefs we have about relationships. The things you don’t like about these people are either what you yourself do or would not do or what you believe. You could not have attracted them or have them in your life if the way they are didn’t somehow complement your own existence." Sacred Synchronicity
"Raise your self-image! As a man thinks in heart, so is he proverbs:23:7, did you know that you never will rise above the image you have of yourself? If you see yourself as poor and defeated, then you’re going to live a poor, defeated life. In order to change your life, you have to change your focus. You have to change what you’re looking at and believing for!" Vashti Pardu

"Serving God - what more beautiful thing is there to do! The only real joy is to be a servant of God, and that means being awake all the time to the needs of the moment…. We cannot have any preconceived ideas of what service means. We never know from one moment to the next, what will be asked of us." Reshad Feild

"Never believe that your flaws & imperfections disqualify you from greatness, and do not allow the cloud of guilt to hover over your life. Instead, realize that it just may be that it just may be that mistakes can serve as a springboard to self-discovery & new opportunities. You can overcome guilt." Pastor Mike

"Complaining and ridiculing rarely solves concerns or issues it only serves to excite defensive reactions. Have the intent of being solution oriented when you choose your words, encourage, and inspire others through your actions. Become skilled at listening with your intellect rather than your emotions and you’ll find life more rewarding."
"People think depression is about being sad. They think it’s just when you ‘feel down’. It’s not. It’s like a darkness that creeps over you and fills you. It drains all your emotions. It takes everything from you, and leaves you feeling hollow and numb. It’s not sadness, it’s not anger, it’s hopelessness. Imagine waking up and there being no color. Walking outside and feeling no wind. Eating a meal and tasting nothing. Holding someone and feeling completely alone at the same time. When you’re depressed, it’s not a bad mood. It’s a numb, empty, hollowness that seems to never leave. It’s feeling alone in a room full of people. You feel like there’s no hope left."
“A man who won’t die for something is not fit to live.”
“An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.”
“Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom. A man can’t ride you unless your back is bent.”
“The quality, not the longevity, of one’s life is what is important.”
“We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.”
“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?”
“I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.”

"I want 2 die people who crippled me with their limited imagination & 2 those who seek to bind me in their own pettiness. I want when they see me 2 think I’m dead b’cuz I no longer can be part of the fellowship of persons who operate in mediocrity & always live beneath their calling. Don’t try 2 suck me into your pity parties while I’m just trying 2 celebrate life for myself." Pastor Mike
"Consider this. “It is tragic to waste energy trying to live someone else’s life or someone else’s vision of your life. You can only be whole or complete when you understand who you are and the life you were born to lead. An investment in being a poor imitation is a poor investment indeed. Find your own voice. Live your own life." Tublu Atlanta

"Don’t wait for time, make it. Don’t wait for love, feel it. Don’t wait for money, earn it. Don’t wait for the path, find it. Don’t wait for the opportunity, create it. Don’t go for less, get the best. Don’t compare, be unique. Don’t avoid failure, use it. Don’t dwell on mistakes, learn form it. Don’t back down, go around. Don’t close your eyes, open your mind. Don’t run from life, embrace it." Bigvai Volcy — 1 year ago

"Greatest man in history, named Jesus, had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet he conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today"
"I love the fact that I can walk the streets with my head held high and my dignity intact. Because though I’ve made some mistakes here and there, i have absolutely no regrets… just experiences that bettered me. I don’s have to tell any of you how happy I am because you can see it in my smile." unknown

"Human beings are funny. They long to be with the person they love but refuse to admit openly. Some are afraid to show even the slightest sign of affection because of fear. Fear that their feelings may not be recognized, or even worst, returned. But one thing about human beings puzzles me the most is their conscious effort to be connected with the object of their affection even if it kills them slowly within." Sigmund Freud
"Jacob was a cheater, Peter had a temper, David had an affair, Noah got drunk, Jonah ran from God, Paul was a murderer, Gideon was insecure, Miriam was a gossiper, Martha was a worrier, Thomas was a doubter, Sara was impatient, Elijah was moody, Moses stuttered, Zaccheus was short, Abraham was old & Lazarus was dead. Now what’s our excuse? Can God use us or not? - God doesn’t call the qualified He qualifies the called"

If you don’t know why you failed, you are no wiser than when you began. There’s an old adage that those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. So it is with our failures. Unless we learn from our mistakes, we are likely to repeat them until we learn from such experiences and correct our course-or give up and accept temporary defeat as permanent failure. Every setback you encounter in life contains valuable information that, if you study it carefully, will eventually lead you to success. Without adversity, you would never develop wisdom, and without wisdom, success would be short lived indeed. When you make a mistake, say, “That’s good! I’ve gotten that out of the way. I will never do that again.” You will no doubt make other mistakes, but they won’t bother you nearly as much when you treat them as learning experiences.
